The economics of feeding InstinctsTC

Maybe you have chosen to feed a raw meat diet after thoroughly informing yourself, and are ready to change your cat’s lifestyle. How costly is it going to be to feed your cat this way? Some may argue that more money spent (invested) in the feeding of your cat is money saved later on veterinary bills. This may be very true, but Feline Future wants to be more realistic than that. Can you afford to feed your cat this way every day?

Absolutely yes!

If you are feeding a grocery brand dry cat food and don’t intend to spend more money than that on your cat, then this is not for you, however. This kind of product can barely be considered a food, and is therefore not part of this equation.

Meat prices at the average grocery store can vary from $5.00/kg to $9.00/kg. Depending on your choice of meat the cost of your cat’s daily portion of food prepared using InstinctsTC can be:

For ½ cup (125g) cat food $1.08 - $1.43

For 2/3 cup (150g) cat food $1.26 - $1.71

This cost includes the cost of shipping and applicable taxes on the InstinctsTC powder.

The daily portion for the average adult cat is ½ cup (125g) of finish food. Cats over 10lbs. body weight, outdoor cats, and male cats may consume more food per day. A large framed, 13 lbs male cat that spends much time outdoors may require as much as 2/3 cup (150g) of food daily.

It is very affordable to feed InstinctsTC and the daily cost compares to feeding a premium canned cat food. Please note that the above cost calculation is based on feeding adult cats. Growing kittens require at certain stages of their lives as much as three times the amount of food they will later eat as adults. However, kittenhood is not the time to cut costs! Make the investment and enjoy a healthy cat for life!
