Great consideration and years of experience went into selecting the ingredients to make InstinctsTC.
Each component has been thoroughly examined for its composition of nutrients and their interactions,
as well as the bioavailability of these nutrients to the cat. We choose only ingredients of highest
quality for the manufacturing of InstinctsTC. All ingredients are for human consumption and are
prepared for use in the food industry, as sports nutrition, infant nutrition, or as dietary
supplement. These ingredients are blended in small batches with great care to create the InstinctsTC
powdered pre-mix, and are always consistent in ratio.

What is Felamin ?
"Felamin" is a complex blend of amino acids, minerals and trace elements from natural sources. It takes the
place of bone or bone meal as the source of essential minerals in our cat food. During the past decade of
researching cat nutrition, the use of ground bones or bone meal has raised growing concerns. In 2001 Feline
Future began the development of a suitable alternative, and 2003 marks the conclusion of this research with
the introduction of "Felamin" - Feline Amino Acid Minerals.
The benefits of "Felamin" are numerous. It provides a safe, pure, reliable natural source of essential
minerals for cats. The minerals are up to 40% more bioavailable in "Felamin" than they are from bone or bone
meal. Unlike bone meal, "Felamin" is free of heavy metals like lead, and hormones, residual chemicals and drugs,
and does not cause constipation in cats. It is not a possible source of infection with BSE for you and your cat.
Cats enjoy the taste of "Felamin" and it is very gentle to the sensitive and developing gastro-intestinal tract
of kittens and promotes healthy growth and development.
There are many advantage of "Felamin" over the use of other Calcium supplements often used in cat food. Most
Calcium Supplements like Calcium Carbonate (incl. Dolomite and Coral Calcium), Calcium Citrate, and Calcium
Lactate act as antacids when ingested - neutralizing stomach acid and inhibiting proper digestion of food.
"Felamin" is pH balanced in its blend with amino acids. A Calcium supplement alone also deprives the cat of
other minerals and trace elements essential for normal body function. The complex minerals in "Felamin" are
organic minerals derived from milk, and are more bioavailable then any other minerals. "Felamin" is also blended
with safe, trace amounts of essential iodine from kelp.
